Nope. I’m not that smart. From my research I can honestly say that I’ve not presented anything that hasn’t already been thought of by hackers, and in most cases, already been done.

Looking back, my response to this question seems a bit weak. Let me add a bit.
I wondered about this question myself as I wrote Disruption. I finally talked with a couple of folks from law enforcement, one in the State Police and the other the F.B.I. I told them my concern, and both of them smiled and said the same thing. They said that there was no doubt that someone out there had already come up with the idea and had probably given it a try. They went on to say that I should go ahead and write my stories, and hopefully it would help everyone realize just how real some of these risks are.
